Both Ajax Cape Town and Maritzburg United are believed to be keen on taking Kaizer Chiefs winger, Ovidy Karuru, on loan at the end of the season.
Karuru, 26, joined the Amakhosi at the start of the 2014/15 campaign, however has failed to make the grade up to now and doesn’t seem to be in Stuart Baxter’s first team plans.
With that in mind, it seems that, as reported in this week’s Soccer Laduma, the Zimbabwean may be sent out on loan ahead of the 2015/16 campaign unless he makes a huge impact between now and the end of the season, something that seems unlikely.
Karuru has played one minute of football this season so far, coming on as a late substitute in the 2-1 win over Free State Stars back in December.
It is thought that Ajax and Maritzburg will be monitoring the players situation in the coming months before deciding whether to make a bid for him or not.
