Chiefs Confirm Opponents For Billiat’s Amakhosi Debut

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Khama Billiat is expected to make his Amakhosi debut this weekend, revealing who their opponents will be.

The Amakhosi will come up against Buya Msuthu of the ABC Motsepe League on Saturday morning in the Maize Cup semi-final, with the winner of that game going on to face either Free State Stars or Chippa United.

All of the matches will take place at James Motlatsi Stadium in Klerksdorp, with the final being held at 16h00 where a winner will be crowned, and it is expected that fans will be given the chance to see their big-name signing in action for the first time.

An article on the club’s official website stated, “The Maize Cup will also be an opportunity to see Khama Billiat in action for the first time wearing the Gold & Black jersey.”

Chiefs won the Maize Cup last season thanks to a goal from George Lebese in the final, and they will be hoping for a similar outcome in Klerksdorp this weekend as they continue their preparations for the 2018/19 Absa Premiership season.
