The Amakhosi did fitness and medical testing on Monday and Tuesday before getting back to work with a ball on Wednesday, and they are now into their preparations for the 2018/19 Absa Premiership season.
It is thought that Chiefs will leave Gauteng for North-West next week to take on the next phase of their pre-season, although at this point they are still without a full-time head coach as management continue their hunt for Steve Komphela’s successor.
Almost all of the club’s players have reported for camp at this stage as they plan to try and end their three-year trophy drought, although Andriamirado Andrianarimanana is yet to arrive amid confusion over his transfer to the Glamour Boys from Fosa Juniors in Madagascar.
Chiefs are set to play a number of friendlies in the coming weeks, including the Maize Cup and the Shell Helix Ultra Cup with Mamelodi Sundowns.
