There’s a full weekend of fixtures in the coming days as all 16 teams go into the battle between tonight and Sunday as we take one step closer to the end of the season.
Unfortunately for some teams, they will be at least one man short going into their ties, starting with AmaZulu in the KwaZulu-Natala derby this evening against Maritzburg United, with Tapelo Nyongo forced to sit this one out – Rushine de Reuck will be missing for the hosts.
Also missing this week will be Vusi Sibiya of Baroka as they go up against Polokwane City, Black Leopards’ Khuliso Mudau for their clash with Free State Stars, and Edmilson Dove in what could be an exciting encounter between Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits.
Elsewhere, Wayne Arendse is serving the second game of his ban after getting a red card against Wits and will miss Sundowns’ game against Bloemfontein Celtic, while Andile Mbenyane is doing the same following his red card in the Nedbank Cup earlier this month.
