Kaizer Chiefs have been advised on the coach they should consider re-hiring for their development.
After former assistant coach, Farouk Khan was linked with a reunion at Chiefs, the club has since been advised by the former midfielder, Junior Khanye to consider again linking up with the Stars of Africa Academy director.
Khan, who parted ways with Amakhosi over a decade ago, has been rumoured to make a possible return to the Soweto giants in recent weeks.
“Can’t Chiefs bring Farouk Khan to start with? Can they bring Farouk Khan back to the club please? They need to bring him to be part of their development. He’s the one can lead their development well and to change their youth system and structure to be where it used to be,” said Khanye.
Over the years, Khan has helped to unearth talent across South Africa, with the likes of May Mahlangu, Tokelo Rantie, Jabu Mahlangu, Tefu Mashamaite and Luther Singh, among the players developed by him.
