Striker Calvin Kadi has resumed full training with Wits' first team after recently being ruled out with a hamstring complaint. Kadi did not feature in the club's last two fixtures against Mamelodi Sundowns and Platinum Stars.
The 25-year-old has featured just once this season for The Students, but he is now available for the club's next match against Golden Arrows this Friday (4 October). His availability must come as a welcome boost to coach Gavin Hunt, as four days after after the Arrows game, Wits take on Orlando Pirates in a PSL encounter.
Kadi's return to full training was confirmed by Wits' Assistant Coach, Paul Johnstone. He said, "Yes, he's resumed training. Now and again he has a nerve issue which flares up and affects his hamstring. He battles with this from time to time. However, he's back training with the first team now."
