Orlando Pirates striker, Justin Shonga thinks that a club of Bucs' calibre needs to be playing in the CAF Champions League.
Pirates are currently in second place on the Absa Premiership league standings, one point away from Baroka FC currently at the top spot.
Speaking in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma, Shonga, who joined up with the Bucs in September this year, says that a team of Pirates calibre should be playing amongst the best in Africa and hopes that this season will be different to their fortunes in the 2016/17 campaign.

“My priority is the team because I believe there is much more that the team can do. Recently, things have not been going well and things should not be this way. I watched the team last season and it was not good to see them performing that way,” the 21-year-old told Soccer Laduma.
“This season it must be different because a team like Pirates needs to be playing in the CAF Champions League and finishing in a good position on the log standings. It is unacceptable for a great team like this not to win anything,” he added.
