Khanye Sets Retirement Age
Junior Khanye Still In Search Of New Club
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Junior Khanye, is still keen on reviving his career albeit eyeing a deal with a club in the ABC Motsepe League.
The former crowd favourite says he is keen on joining Lerato Chabangu at Pretoria Callies in Mzansi’s third tier. The team is coached by former South African Under-20 coach, Solly Luvhengo.
“I have spoken to the club that Lerato Chabangu has recently joined. The team is coached by Solly Luvhengo. I spoke to him and there is an agreement that I will go to his team," Khanye told the Siya crew.
“I won’t give up. I almost joined Mikhado FC in Limpopo, where Lerato was, but things didn’t work out well. I’m not prepared to leave the game anytime soon. I will only hang up my boots when I’m 38. I’m 32 years old now. I’m fit and taking care of myself because I no longer do some of the things I used to do. I am a church going person these days,” said Khanye.
