Judge Denise Fischer has handed down her judgement on the Premier Soccer League.
It has been confirmed that Judge Fisher has granted the National Soccer League and AmaZulu FC leave to appeal her decision to set aside Advocate William Mokhari’s judgement.
Fischer recently ruled that Mokhari’s award of docking points from Ajax be set aside, which ultimately saw the Urban Warriors reinstated in to 15th position on the Absa Premiership league standings and having the results of the relegation/promotion play-offs deemed null and void.
The PSL/NSL since responded by confirming that they will appeal this decision.
It has since been confirmed that Fischer granted the NSL leave to appeal her decision.
The judge is set to hear both AmaZulu’s and the PSL’s argument today after Ajax Cape Town’s application to interdict the start of the Premier Soccer League.
However, this all awaiting the outcome of Ajax’s appeal to interdict the start of the league which has been scheduled for August 03 and 04.
