South African youngster, Joshua Maluka, has signed for Åbo IFK in the Finnish Second Division.
The 18-year-old is the younger brother of Leroy Maluka.
Åbo is the same club that had the older of the Maluka brothers on its books, when the Cape Town-born midfielder first arrived in Finland in 2010.
The older Maluka is currently contracted to Turun Palloseura in the premier division of Finnish football. The 29-year-old confirmed to the Siya crew that his younger brother is with him in Finland.
“My little brother, Joshua Maluka, has just signed a two-year deal with Åbo IFK in the Finnish Second Division. He is 18 years-old,” said Maluka.
Confirming the news of joining a club in the Finnish Second Division, Joshua Maluka told the Siya crew that he played for a few clubs in the Western Cape, before leaving for overseas.
“Yes, I’ve signed a two-year deal, thank you. I am a holding midfielder, as well as left or right winger. I’ve played for Ikapa Sporting, Vasco da Gama and FC Kapstadt in South Africa,” said Maluka.
