Despite reporting for pre-season training with Orlando Pirates last week, Moeneeb Josephs is once again missing from the club as he sits out from training due to a bout of the flu.
The Siya crew reported recently that the full Buccaneers squad had turned up for the start of their pre-season earlier this month, including those, like Josephs, who are expected to leave the club in the near future.
However, a member of Pirates’ technical team has informed the crew that Josephs is not training with the club at present, after the keeper informed the club that he was suffering from the flu and was currently unable to train.

The future of the 33-year-old all but certainly lies away from Parktown, ahead of next season, although as of yet it remains to be seen which club he will join when his contract expires on June 30.
Josephs lost his place in the Buccaneers squad last season due to injury and then failed to usurp his replacement, Senzo Meyiwa, from between the sticks.
Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will clash on July 27, with the title of 2013 Carling Black Label Cup champions up for grabs.
