Chippa claim to have a new two-year contract in place with Molangoane, while the player and his representatives say the deal with the club ended in June.
Molangoane has been expected to conclude a switch from Chippa to Chiefs for this season, with the Amakhosi having made their intentions clear about having him in Steve Komphela’s squad.
Molangoane and Chippa are expected to settle their contractual dispute out of court, following yet another appearance at the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber.
Contacted by the Siya crew for comment, the former Orlando Pirates player promised to give his side of the story regarding what happened between him and the Port Elizabeth club.
“I have always maintained that I won’t speak until the matter has been finalised. However, I want to assure you that I will give you an interview painting the entire picture of what has happened from day one,” said Molangoane.
‘Tight’, as Molangoane is known in football circles, has already been to Chiefs for training although he later stopped training with the team.
