After what seemed like a done deal for Kaizer Chiefs for the acquisition of former Ajax Cape Town attacking midfielder, Lebogang Manyama, SuperSport United emerged victorious for the signature of the 23 year-old when they snatched him after he turned down Amakhosi when the two parties failed to agree on personal terms.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma, SuperSport United coach, Cavin Johnson was very excited with his latest signing and said.
"Manyama is an amazing player and we are very excited to have him on board. He can be good for Bafana Bafana as well."
Asked if there was any specific player/s the club is looking at bringing on board, the coach played his cards very close to his chest saying, "We usually earmark 1,2,3,4 players, put it on paper and share it with the board. If we manage to get those players then its good for the team, but in case we do not get them, we look at others we can get."

The Siya crew also tried to squeeze one last answer out of the coach regarding Kaizer Chiefs striker Lehlohonolo Majoro if he had signed a pre-contract with Matsatsantsa. This after the former AmaZulu man turned down a contract extension from Amakhosi with many suspecting that there could be a swap deal on the cards with George Maluleka moving into the opposite direction to Naturena.
"The Majoro story is just media speculation as much as the Katlego Mphela one, " concluded the former Platinum Stars coach.
