Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila coach Joel Masutha has revealed the club's intentions to bolster their defence in the transfer window after their 3-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.
TTM looked very shaky at the back as they conceded a host of opportunities and three goals scored by Gabadinho Mhango, Deon Hotto and Fortune Makaringe.
Masutha was asked about the club's transfer window aspirations and he was candid in his response, saying the club is indeed is looking to shore up its defence with a couple of signings.
"I believe the management has assembled a good team," the TTM mentor told SuperSport after the game.
"We are short in a few positions. Like any other team when you are short you have to beef up. Where we are we are not safe. And were lacking in crucial positions.
"If you checked on the team sheet, we only had one defender who was a left-back on the bench. Those are the areas that we need to look at if we want to compete.
"Because the more you don't concede the more the chance of winning the game especially with the quality that we have going forward. For sure the management know these are the areas we need to look at so we can be the team that competes with the other clubs."
