Brockie Pens New SuperSport Deal
SuperSport have confirmed that their star striker, Jeremy Brockie, has signed a new contract at the club.
Brockie, 28, has been a revelation in South Africa since moving in 2014, and he has now been rewarded with a new deal.
The news of his four-year extension, as predicted by the Siya crew, was confirmed at their awards ceremony this evening.
When asked about signing a new contract, Brockie told the Siya crew, "I'm buzzing! I've enjoyed every minute of my time with SuperSport, and after extending my stay here for another four years I hope to lift more silverware and keep scoring goals in the colours of blue."
Meanwhile, when asked about whether the deal puts to rest rumours about his future, he said, "It was nice having interest from Sundowns but to continue developing under Stuart Baxter was a big reason for me staying with the club.
"In the short amount of time I've worked with him he has taken my game to another level.
"In the future I'm not sure, but for now and the near future I'm very much committed to the club that has shown a lot of faith in me and brought me to this wonderful country."
