Platinum Stars midfielder, Sipho Jembula, has joined Polokwane City on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has played just 21 minutes of football for Dikwena so far in the 2013/14 campaign, and will be hoping that the move away from Rustenburg can reignite his career.
Jembula is one of the changes Stars made this transfer window, with the club already completing the signing of free agent, Gift Sithole, while loaning out James Mofokeng and Rofhiwa Tshikovhi to Chippa United and Polokwane respectively.
Meanwhile, the club’s football manager, Senzo Mazingiza, has explained that the club has no more trialists currently with them, although they are looking at some of their own youth products.
Speaking to the crew, Mazingiza said, “No trialists, they’ve all stopped training with us now. We’re taking a look at a couple of youngsters that we’ve promoted, but we haven’t made any sort of decision on them yet.”
City have managed to secure the loan signings of several players in this window, and could also be signing former Ajax Cape Town man, Alcardo van Graan, in the near future.
