Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Polokwane to face Polokwane City in the first round of the 2013/14 Telkom Knockout, with Chiefs left back, Jimmy Jambo, stating that he is happy with the draw.
Addressing the media at the draw on Monday night, Jambo said that Polokwane is like home to Chiefs and emphasised that they have a strong fan base in the area.
“Polokwane is our home and every time we play there we have a full house and we will fill the stadium and beat Polokwane City there," said the defender.
Following their success in the Nedbank Cup last season, Jambo is confident that they can overcome their opponents in the opening round.
He went on, “We played them in the Nedbank Cup last season and beat them 2-1 and we can beat them again.”
“This is a good draw for us. We want to win more trophies this season and we have to start with this game and this tournament.”
