News coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that midfielder Andile Jali will undergo a scan today to determine the extent of his shoulder injury.
Jali injured his shoulder during last night’s Absa Premiership match against Polokwane City, which Pirates won 1-0 courtesy of a well taken goal by defender Rooi Mahamutsa.

Pirates PRO Mickey Modisane confirmed to the Siya crew that Jali will be assessed today.
“We’ll only know after the assessment as to the extent of his shoulder injury. The fact that he managed to finish the game gives us hope that he will be OK,” said Modisane.
With Thandani Ntshumayelo having only started with light training this week, following an injury lay off, Pirates coach Roger de Sa will be hoping that Jali’s injury is not that serious and that he will be available for Sunday’s CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly.
Pirates have to beat Al Ahly at the Orlando Stadium in order to boost their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of this lucrative CAF competition.
