Orlando Pirates have announced that midfielder Andile Jali will be out for six months after a scan revealed further complications on his injured shoulder.
Jali injured his shoulder during Pirates’ 1-0 win over Polokwane City and it was thought that the midfielder would be out for at least six weeks.

However, Bucs have now confirmed on the club’s official website that Jali will only return to competitive football in March of 2014.
The club's medical team told orlandopiratesfc.com that Jali’s injury is quite sensitive and he will be out for at least six months.

Meanwhile, coach Roger de Sa says the club will miss Jali, but added that the club would soldier on without him.
“I heard his injury is quite serious. We have to keep moving. I hope he gets well way before the stipulated (recovery) time. He is a great lad who gives his all on the field, so it is really hard to have him out,” De Sa told orlandopiratesfc.com.
