News coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that midfielder Andile Jali will undergo a late fitness test to determine if he will be fit to play in Saturday’s MTN8 final against Platinum Stars.
As reported by the Siya crew yesterday, Jali could be available for this game against Stars after the results of the second test showed that the midfielder has not damaged any ligaments in his shoulder.

Pirates coach Roger de Sa confirmed to the Siya crew that Jali had travelled with the team to Durban for the final.
“Andile is here with us. He is going to train with us later today and then we’ll make a decision after training on whether to include him in the match squad. I guess everything will depend on how he responds in training,” said De Sa.
Meanwhile, De Sa said that he was expecting a tough match against Stars in the MTN8 final.
“This team hammered Wits by six goals to three. Prior to that they beat Free State Stars 3-0. We struggled to beat them in the last two games we played against them, only winning by a goal, so we need be at our best if we’re to beat them in this final,” added De Sa.
De Sa however is confident that Pirates will beat Stars and win the MTN8.
“If we don’t believe in ourselves, then who can? I’m confident that the players will do the job for us,” concluded De Sa.
