On-loan Mpumalanga Black Aces goalkeeper, Jackson Mabokgwane, is set to return to his mother club, Wits, at the end of the season.
This is despite the fact that Mabokgwane has expressed his desire to remain with his favourite mentor Clive Barker next season, with Aces also understood to be interested in retaining him.
According to sources, Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to recall goalkeeper, Dennis Onyango, who is on loan at Wits from the Brazilians.
That will then leave Wits with, Moeneeb 'Slimkat' Josephs, as the only experienced goalkeeper in the team hence the decision to recall Mabokgwane from Aces.
Mabokgwane’s recall will come as a big blow to Aces considering how well he did for them before he was injured, ironically in a match against his former team, Sundowns.
Aces currently have Bafana Nhlapo, Calvin Marlin and Energy Murambadoro on their books, so it looks as though they would be covered in the goalkeeping department.
