After finishing the 2018/19 season with Highlands Park, Jabulani Shongwe and Mahlatse Makudubela have left the Absa Premiership for deals abroad.
Shongwe and Makudubela, who previously played for Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates respectively, have been signed by Georgia second division club FC Gagra.
Shongwe had been with the Lions of the North since March this year, having spent two months without a club since parting ways with Chippa United in January.
He struggled for game-time under coach Owen da Gama, which led to him parting ways with the club at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old midfielder trained with Swallows FC at the start of the season.
Meanwhile, Makudubela had been with the Lions of the North since November last year. He also struggled for game-time at the club, which led to his release at the end of the season.
