After missing two league games against University of Pretoria and Ajax Cape Town, which both ended in one-all draws, Kaizer Chiefs number one goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has returned to training.
The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper missed the two games due to a knee injury, which, according to sources, was not a serious one.
A Soccer Laduma source at the club told the Siya crew that the goalkeeper will join the rest of the players at training today.
"Itu is feeling much better and since he had a weekend out, as he didn't travel with the team to Cape Town, he will join the other players at training today. The team wanted him to rest so that he doesn't strain his knee, but now he is fine and he will resume training today," the source said.
Amakhosi's next game is a Telkom Knockout fixture away to Platinum Stars on Sunday at Maruleng Stadium and they will be hoping that Khune is ready for the game.
