Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, has alluded to a boardroom meeting that will take place today, believed to be with the Amakhosi.

The Siya crew reported yesterday that Khune had met with Bobby Motaung in private on Tuesday, and while that was refuted by the club, it does appear that he is drawing closer to a Naturena return.

Now, following all the talk of his future being finalised this week, Khune has tweeted a picture of himself on the way to a boardroom meeting.

He said, "Be walking in a Boadroom like this."

On the back of Khune’s tweet, the Siya crew contacted the club to get clarity and insight on the keeper’s comment on the social platform.

Based on the tweet, the crew put a call through to Vina Maphosa, Chiefs’ Corporate Communications Manager, asking if the player would be meeting the club today.

Maphosa replied, “I can’t comment on Itumeleng or any player’s personal Twitter account. I can only comment if it’s on the club’s official website.”
