Platinum Stars have decided against signing Itumeleng Duiker, following the player’s trial with the side.
Dikwena, who have been one of the busiest clubs in the market during the transfer window in January, gave the former Bloemfontein Celtic player a chance to train with the team, as he continues to search for a team in the PSL.
However, sources close to the North West outfit reveal that Stars decided against signing Duiker, after the management of the club finalised deals with Punch Masenamela, Bryce Moon, Tlou Segolela and Masibusane Zongo.
Zongo, who impressed Allan Freese and his technical team on his trial with Stars, said he is happy for getting another chance to play football at the highest level of South African football.
“I am really happy that at last I am with a team in the league. I will make sure that I play with passion and show my talent. The family has shown me more than team work, they are family,” Zongo told the club’s official website.
