Mohammed-Awal Issah has been spotted at AmaZulu, training with the KwaZulu-Natal side.
It was reported in issue 824 of Soccer-Laduma that Usuthu were preparing to reunite with the Ghanaian player ahead of the new season. According to a source at the club, Issah could be signed during this transfer window, depending on his progress under the watchful eye of coach Craig Rosslee and his technical team.
“The player has arrived. I saw him training with the club. He hasn’t signed at this moment in time. But I think that will be happening soon,” explained a Soccer-Laduma source.
Issah was with AmaZulu between 2007 and 2009. He left for Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, alongside Bernard Parker, when the Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana player was still with Thanda Royal Zulu.
AmaZulu new signings Letladi Madubanya and Aubrey Mathibe are some of the players that started training with Rosslee’s side in preparation of next season.
