Senegalese midfielder, Issa Sarr has sent a message to Orlando Pirates amid talks of his exit from the club.
It was recently reported by the Siya crew that Sarr had been a notable absentee from the Bucs squad that travelled to Zambia for the team’s pre-season training camp.
Sarr, 31, has been linked with an exit from Bucs since last season. The central midfielder made only two starts under Milutin Sredojevic’s technical team last season. According to local media reports on the weekend, Bucs chairman Irvin Khoza reportedly confirmed Sarr’s exit from the Soweto giants.
As reported on the City Press, Sarr’s exit from the club was confirmed alongside that of Ayanda Nkosi who has also been linked with an exit from Bucs for some time.
Amid talks of his exit, Sarr took to Twitter to thank the Bucs chairman and the club.
“The Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has been brilliant for me. The fans have supported me through the good times and the bad. They have always (sung) my name and pushed me on, it means everything. Thank you will never be enough (Edited),” tweeted the player.
