Isaka Has Surgery, Agrees SSU Termination

SuperSport United are believed to have agreed a mutual termination of Isaka Cernak’s contract after the Australian sustained a knee injury that required surgery.
The 26-year-old has struggled to make a name for himself in South Africa since agreeing a move from Central Coast Mariners at the start of the season, playing just seven Absa Premiership games for the club this campaign.
It was reported by the Siya crew recently that the midfielder had until the end of the season to prove to Stuart Baxter and his technical team that he was deserving of a new deal, and his injury means that he will no longer be able to do that.
While aspects of the termination are yet to be finalised, the crew has been informed that Cernak will be leaving Matsatsantsa before the end of the season after agreeing to the mutual termination.
Cernak – a former Australian youth international – is expected to return to country of his birth.
