Namibian international midfielder Heinrich Isaacks has concluded his move to Maritzburg United.
Isaacks impressed the Ernst Middendorp-led technical team at The Team of Choice during his trial with the side, and has subsequently landed a PSL contract. He is the second Namibian player joining the side during the January transfer window, after the club clinched a deal with Virgil Vries.
Isaacks confirmed with the Siya crew that he has signed a deal with the Pietermaritzburg side, that will see him at the club until the end of the 2013/14 season.
The 27-year-old is set to boost Maritzburg’s chances of ending the campaign in the top eight. He played for Namibian Premier League side Civics before attracting interest from Maritzburg.
The two players could be available for the team’s next game, in the derby against AmaZulu when the league resumes in February.
