A suspended coach of a DStv Premiership club has spoken fondly of a PSL award winner, following the player’s achievement after a good season.
As the PSL rewarded the top performers of the 2019/20 season, Baroka midfielder Goodman Mosele walked away with the Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season.
In congratulating Mosele, Baroka coach Dylan Kerr described the 20-year-old as a rare talent who has benefited from the teamwork of his Bakgaga teammates.
“Congratulations to all the winners at the PSL awards and a massive congratulations Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season Goodman Mosele (Baroka FC) a rare talent. Well done to his teammates for their contribution for him to win this award,” Kerr wrote on his official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, Kerr is expected to miss the match against Maritzburg United as the Limpopo outfit gets its 2020/21 DStv Premiership season underway at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Kerr was suspended by the club two weeks ago for allegedly bringing the club into disrepute with some of the comments atrributed to him and is expected to appear before the club's disciplinary committee.
Baroka assistant coach Thoka Matsemela is expected to lead from the touch line against the Team of Choice.
The match gets underway at 15:30 on Saturday.
