In This Week's Edition Of Soccer Laduma

In anticipation of this week's edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included in issue number 967. The latest edition will be out on the shelves tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6.

Mamelodi Sundowns – Sundowns are the only South African team still in this year's continental competitions. They will play against AS Vita over the weekend in the final round of the CAF Champions League before the group stages.

One huge question remains: Who are AS Vita? Soccer Laduma's Lunga Adams brings you all the relevant information about this African giant, as well as what Sundowns could expect when they travel to the ever hostile DRC…

Kaizer Chiefs – Young Chiefs striker, Emmanuel 'Adebayor' Letlotlo, has been a revelation in Amakhosi’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge team.

With Chiefs’ frontline currently firing blanks, it remains to be seen whether the youngster will be the solution to his team's striking woes if he is called upon.

In this interview with Soccer Laduma's Vuyani Joni, Adebayor explains to us why he thinks the Chiefs fans love him… and more.

Orlando Pirates – Pirates' three goalkeepers have each had their fair share of matches this season. Felipe Ovono was used in the CAF Confederation Cup, Siyabonga Mpontshane in the domestic competitions earlier in the season, and now Brighton Mhlongo has resumed his role as the team’s number one keeper.

We speak to former Bafana Bafana and Chiefs shot-stopper Rowen Fernandez, who is the current goalkeeper coach at the Mayfair side, about his department, as well as the 'good selection headache' he has every week.

Also in edition 967…

Stanton Fredericks, one of very few players to have played for both Soweto giants, speaks about his professional career and how showboating is important to the local game.

Peter Schmeichel, considered the greatest goalkeeper of the English Premier League era, chats about his illustrious career and Manchester United’s recent woes.

And in this week's Revolving Column, Baroka FC coach, Kgoloko Thobejane, throws down the gauntlet and says his side can beat any team in South Africa, Bucs and Downs included!

In this week’s Siyagobhoza…

Find out which Free State Stars defender Chiefs are chasing, whether Pitso Mosimane will be renewing his deal at Sundowns or moving on to better things, and which Mbombela United star Orlando Pirates have their eye on.

Grab your latest copy of Soccer Laduma at your nearest outlet tomorrow for all of this fantastic PSL soccer news, and much more…
