In This Week's Edition Of Soccer Laduma

In anticipation of this week's edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included in issue number 944. The latest edition will be out on the shelves tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21.

Bernard Parker – Kaizer Chiefs has, for the past five seasons, seen strikers come and go… save for the talented Bernard Parker.

The player nicknamed ‘Hond’, who is a firm fan favourite, answers why Steve Komphela has frequently been playing him in midfield.

The 29-year-old also explains why Amakhosi are ready for the CAF Champions League and names the players who he believes will be key to their campaign.

Alex Bapela – Mamelodi Sundowns legendary midfielder, Alex Bapela, was suddenly dismissed by the Brazilians from his position of reserve team coach.

Alex, affectionately dubbed ‘Barnes’ by his fans, tells Soccer Laduma how he searched the club for answers following the appointment of another coach behind his back.

Do not miss this poignant interview that will leave you open-mouthed, in which Bapela shares his tale about being demoted from being assistant to Johan Neeskens, to dramatically falling out with Pitso Mosimane and then eventually the club.

Edwin Gyimah – Orlando Pirates’ Ghanaian midfielder-cum-defender Edwin Gyimah is one of the most physically imposing, fearsome and intimidating players in the league.

Make sure you do not miss his first interview with Soccer Laduma as a Buccaneer, in which he talks about realising his dream of playing for the Soweto giants.

Born in the beach town of Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana, the 24-year-old also talks about how Gavin Hunt discovered him before bringing him to South Africa.

Also, don’t miss this week’s Siyagobhoza in which we bring you news on Andile Jali’s Belgian club Oostende’s chase of a Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana star. Also we have news on Kaizer Chiefs possible new technical team member as well as a key player Bucs might, in the near future, lose to Europe.
