In This Week's Edition Of Soccer Laduma

In anticipation of this week's edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included in issue number 940. The latest edition will be out on the shelves tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23.

Eric Tinkler - CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals preview – Orlando Pirates head coach, Eric Tinkler, is on the verge of possibly winning his first trophy with the Soweto giants in a continental competition.

Make sure to read this interview in which the 45-year-old coach tells Soccer Laduma that his players have wanted to face Al Ahly from the first day they started the tournament.

Soccer Laduma also brings you Al Ahly’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as takes a looks at the Egyptian giant’s danger men.

Siphelele Mthembu – Kaizer Chiefs’ muscular number nine, Siphelele Mthembu, is one of the most physically daunting strikers for any PSL defender to mark.

Also known as ‘Shaka Zulu’, Mthembu relates what Coach Steve Komphela has said he wants from him this season in very clear terms.

The 28-year-old player, who hails from the small KwaZulu-Natal town of Melmoth, reveals why he is so happy to be back at Amakhosi and shares his hopes for his second spell at the club.

Tebogo Langerman – Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Tebogo Langerman, is fighting a very tight selection contest with teammate and Bafana Bafana international Mzikayise Mashaba for Sundowns’ left fullback position.

Don’t miss this to-the-point interview in which the Roodepoort-born player talks about Sundowns’ players taking full responsibility for results instead of allowing the fans to point fingers at the team’s head coach, Pitso Mosimane.

Langerman, who has a specific message for Downs’ fans, also makes no attempt to deny that Kabo Yellow want to win every piece of silverware up for the taking.

We also have… an interview with 21-year-old Thabang Phete, who plays his football for Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese Premier League, to find out if Chiefs have missed out on a gem, an MTN8 Ajax celebration poster as well as some choice words from two of Ajax stalwarts in the Revolving Column, where anger is expressed at Amakhosi.

Our Siyagobhoza this week reports on Kaizer Chiefs’ senior management’s reactions to the team’s MTN8 defeat and the club’searly plans for the January transfer window. Also find out what Bongani Zungu has told Mamelodi Sundowns regarding his future.

Avoid disappointment by making sure you get your copy of Soccer Laduma tomorrow!
