Kaizer Chiefs hosted log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns in what was the match of the week on the local scene. Soccer Laduma breaks down the match.

Kaizer Chiefs mid-term report

Amakhosi have roped in a few new recruits as they seek to turn around their trophy drought. Having won four out of their last five encounters, it seems like Head Coach, Steve Komphela is getting something right. Soccer Laduma takes a look at the individual players’ season ratings.

‘The Police Officer’, as Orlando Pirates’ Justin Shonga is commonly known in football circles, has been flourishing at the Mayfair-based side since his appointment to the club. The Zambian international has been showing impressive signs and the Buccaneer faithful are waiting patiently to see their star rise. Soccer Laduma provides some memorabilia for the supporters.

This is by far the worst front page EVER...WOW. How about analyzing a match of goals first. Since when is a dull 0_0 draw make front page. Bobby has a lot of bad things but barring you from interviewing chiefs player is was a good thing because your obsession with chiefs is rather SAD! You need help sir serious one. Maybe if you guys stop analyzing games from SS4 instead of going to the stadiums is killing the paper

Nthethe has lost his place in the Sundowns starting line-up, and with his Sundowns contract set to expire in June, the 33-year-old is said to be willing to go to Pirates to get game time. “Pirates need an experienced centre back, and they wanted Tyson [Thulani Hlatshwayo], but Wits don’t want to sell him, so they’re going for Nthethe. “Pitso has given Nthethe his blessing to leave, because he says he can’t guarantee him game time. Nthethe wants to join Pirates. What is left now is for Sundowns and Pirates to agree on a transfer fee, and he’ll be their player,” a source close to Sundowns told Phakaaathi.
