In This Week's Edition Of Soccer Laduma

By Soccer Laduma - Dec 12, 2017 03:27 PM

In anticipation of this week’s 1053rd edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included. The latest edition will be available at your nearest outlet tomorrow, Wednesday, December 13.

Khama Billiat feature

The sensational Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has been the subject of much transfer speculation since last season. It remains a mystery as to where his next move will be, but the fact remains that he was a big part of the Brazilians’ success in recent times. How much will Pitso Mosimane miss the 27-year-old if he had to depart, Soccer Laduma’s Dumisani Koyana investigates…

Louis Tshakoane interview

Soccer Laduma’s Nikolaos Kirkinis sits down with a man who charmed the crowds, a man whose primary job was to bring the supporters to the stadium. The original Kaizer Chiefs PRO, Louis Tshakoane reveals how Amakhosi came to find its first supporters and how to bring the supporters back to the team.

Orlando Pirates feature

Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic is one step away from bringing back the glory days to Mayfair and that is to solve the goalscoring situation. The Serbian mentor has transformed the Buccaneer team since his inclusion at the club. Soccer Laduma editor Vuyani Joni takes a look at Micho’s remaining challenge in his attempt to revive the Soweto Giants.

Also in issue 1053…

Clayton Daniels interview

The 33-year-old central defender has been in the game for 10 years. After reaching this milestone, the SuperSport United player chatted to Soccer Laduma’s Dumisani Koyana as he retraces the steps he has taken so far.

Rheece Evans interview

It’s the story of every footballer going into a new club. Game-time is an uncertainty and that was no exception for Rheece Evans. Having joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014, his battle for a spot in the team resulted in his calls for a loan move. Ajax Cape Town came to the 27-year-old’s rescue as he tells Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams about his quest to improve his performances.

Bevan Fransman interview

Soccer Laduma’s Dumisani Koyana spoke to the 34-year-old Maritzburg United defender about what has kept him in the game for so long as well as the current form of the Team of Choice.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi feature

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo picked up his fifth Ballon d’Or award to equal the record of his long-standing rival Lionel Messi. As Ronaldo lifted the prestigious award, many asked who will be the player to end the 10-year Ronaldo-Messi era, Soccer Laduma’s international editor David Kappel did some digging.

NFD interview

Soccer Laduma’s Peter Raath chatted to Highlands Park’s attacking midfielder Brandon Theron about Owen da Gama, his career and teammates.

Revolving column

This week we hear from Free State Stars midfielder Katlego Mashego on the loss to Bloemfontein Celtic in the Free State derby and on the league match against SuperSport United.

Siyagobhoza

In this week’s edition of our beloved Siyagobhoza, the crew reveals that Mamelodi Sundowns could look to add one of their players as part of a swap deal with Kaizer Chiefs, while there seems to be another suitor lining up to lure Khama Billiat away from Downs, and Orlando Pirates have competition as they look to sign a Polokwane City player, as well as much, much more!
