In anticipation of this week’s 1113th edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included. The latest edition will be available at your nearest outlet tomorrow, Wednesday, March 6th.
CAF Champions League preview
Orlando Pirates returned to the CAF Champions League tournament this season and Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane spoke of a possible final between the two South African sides. However, that dream still hangs in the air, especially looking at the campaign that the Buccaneers have had, losing to Esperance in their previous encounter. But they still have a chance to qualify, while Masandawana need just three points to seal the deal. To keep the dream alive, both Bucs and Downs must win their penultimate games. Are they up to the task? Soccer Laduma’s Vuyani Joni and Lunga Adam find out.
Kaizer Chiefs feature
In early December last year, Kaizer Chiefs parted ways with Giovanni Solinas after a run of just one win in six league matches. In came Ernst Middendorp in his second stint with the club. Soccer Laduma looks at the German’s tactics, results and methods compared to those of his predecessor.

Lerato Chabangu interview
There was a time when Lerato Chabangu had the world at his feet. He had a magnetic effect on women, especially with beautiful, skimpily clad who tend to share the same space with professional footballers. After all, things were going his way and money was no object. Well, that all now seems like a lifetime ago as hard times hit hard and friends avoided him like the plague. Speaking to Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams, ‘Ace’ reveals the honest truth on how he gave into the trappings of topflight football.
Parusnath twins interview
Seth and Kaleb Parusnath both got promoted to the Golden Arrows senior team in the 2013/14 season where they fitted in like a hand in a glove. However, since then, it has been a challenging road for the twins. Soccer Laduma’s Beaver Nazo sat down with them for a chat about that journey.
Serame Letsoaka interview
There is a quiet revolution happening in neighbouring Botswana. Former South African youth coach Serame Letsoaka has been appointed Technical Director and he has gone about his duties with an impressive sense of professionalism and this is beginning to bear fruit. Letsoaka admits that there is a lot of challenges in the vast country. In this frank interview with Soccer Laduma’s Thomas Kwenaite, Letsoaka points out the aims and objectives and how he has changed the perspective of coaches that did not take kindly to a “foreign” coach being appointed ahead of the local coaches.
Soccer Laduma’s Peter Raath chats to Ubuntu Cape Town midfielder, Jesse Donn about his dream of making it big in pro football.
This week, we hear from Free State Stars’ Sibusiso Masina on the plan to escape relegation and on losing Sinethemba Jantjie at the end of the season.
The Siya Crew is back this week to let you in on what’s happening behind the scenes of your favourite clubs.
