Speaking to Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams after the launch of the club’s new Puma kit, he talks about the jersey itself, his first season and their league title defence.
Kaizer Chiefs feature
After eight weeks without a head coach, Kaizer Chiefs announced Giovanni Solinas as the new mentor for the team ahead of the new season. Many did not see this one coming, taking into consideration the coach’s previous under par spell at Free State Stars. Soccer Laduma investigates whether this appointment will bring about any success for Amakhosi.

The 2016/17 season would go down as one of the worst seasons that Orlando Pirates ever faced after finishing out of the Top Eight in the club’s history. However, after the inclusion of both head coach Milutin Sredojevic and his assistant Rhulani Mokwena on the technical bench, the team took a turn for the best. But, behind the scenes, there was a strength and conditioning coach who was whipping the players into shape.
