By Soccer Laduma - Mar 19, 2018 04:33 PM

In anticipation of this week’s 1065th edition of Soccer Laduma, we preview some of the features included. The latest edition will be available at your nearest outlet tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21.

Mamelodi Sundowns feature

The most recent off-season transfer window saw two surprise signings made by Mamelodi Sundowns, which no one had seen coming – Orlando Pirates’ captain Oupa Manyisa moved to Masandawana, whilst Kaizer Chiefs’ winger George Lebese returned to Mamelodi, the place of his birth. The pair has had contrasting fortunes since joining the Brazilians. Soccer Laduma looks at the rebirth enjoyed by Oupa Manyisa and the struggles suffered by George Lebese.

Kaizer Chiefs feature

For years, Kaizer Chiefs have had issues finding strikers to replace the prolific goalscorers of yesteryear. Amakhosi now have five different forwards as options in attack, with regular goals and assists being contributed. Soccer Laduma looks at what these attackers are bringing to the party and if there is a solution in-house to Chiefs’ goalscoring problems…

Xola Mlambo interview

Here is a player who went about his business without much fanfare at Chippa United, then made people sit up during his spell at Bidvest Wits, and has now surfaced at Orlando Pirates. The scariest part is that there seems to be more to come from the player affectionately known as ‘Ten-Ten’. In this interview, he opens up to Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams about his struggles at his former club and the revolution that Bucs are currently undergoing.

Also in issue 1065…

Siphesihle Ndlovu interview

Maritzburg United’s 21-year-old sensation, Siphesihle Ndlovu has taken the South African football scene by storm. After his impressive performances so far this season, Bafana Bafana head coach, Stuart Baxter has given the central midfielder an opportunity to earn his first national cap. In this interview with Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams, the player reveals his excitement about his latest developments.

UEFA Champions League feature

Soccer Laduma’s international team takes an in-depth look at the quarter-final round of the UEFA Champions League.

NFD interview

Soccer Laduma’s Peter Raath chats to Cape Town All Stars’ wing back Ricardo Williams about the club’s alleged takeover by Swallows FC.

Revolving column

This week, we hear from SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman on being part of the new generation Bafana team and on SuperSport and Mamelodi Sundowns progressing in Africa.

Siyagobhoza

In this week’s edition of our beloved Siyagobhoza, the crew reveals that Mamelodi Sundowns have exercised an option on one of their goalkeepers, while both Sundowns and Chiefs are said to be keeping an eye on a Pirates defender, and Jali is yet to commit, as well as much, much more!
