In-form AmaZulu have been awarded a PSL gong as a reward for their impressive performances and results.
After collecting 20 points from Q3 of the Q-Innovation, AmaZulu have been confirmed as winners of the quarter.
Usuthu collected the points from six wins and two draws, having finished the quarter with no loss.
For their efforts, the KwaZulu-Natal giants have won R1.5 million in prize money for the first time in history, which was the same feat achieved by their neighbours Golden Arrows who were confirmed as the winners of the Q2 in February.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu’s neighbours Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns both finished the quarter on 15 points and in second and third positions respectively.
