Bafana Bafana and Lesotho will clash in the third place playoff of the COSAFA Senior Challenge on Sunday, at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia.
Despite having only 16 players available for the game, coach Gordon Igesund is confident that they can win the bronze medal.
He told the Siya crew that the players have worked hard and that they deserve to return home with something to show for their commitment.
“It is unfortunate that we find ourselves in a situation where we have only 16 players to pick from for this important match where we can still finish third and bring back a bronze medal.
“This is an important game for everyone in the team and we are focussing on the positives, rather than the injuries and suspensions. We want to win, that's all," Igesund concluded.
