Highlands Park coach, Gordon Igesund was thoroughly impressed with side's display and believes they deserved to beat Orlando Pirates.
The Lions of the North moved off the foot of the table, after clinching a point against the Buccaneers on Saturday evening.
"To be quite I honest, I thought it was very good game. I thought we dominated the game for most periods," Igesund said after the game.
"We created more chances, we had more possession. That's the best I've seen us play in a long time.
"Before the game, I told the guys to go and get rid of this scaredness, scored to lose, I said we can't get any worse than we are now.
"I'm a little bit disappointed we never won the game, we seriously deserved to win the game tonight. They (Pirates) never really had any chances, we ran our socks off and we played fantastic."
Siyabonga Nlhapo was named Man of the Match and dedicated his award to the technical team for the preparation.
"It was extremely tough, because we know these guys scored six goals in their last two games, so we worked hard with out analysts on the tape watching they moved, so this (award) goes to the team," he added.
