Gordon Igesund has announced his 22-man Bafana Bafana squad that will take part in next month's 2014 African Nations Championship.
The tournament, which is being hosted in South Africa, will begin on January 11th when Igesund's men take on Mozambique at Cape Town Stadium.
Igesund's plans were thrown into disarray when the PSL announced that there would be some Absa Premiership games taking place during the month-long tournament, meaning that he would be unable to select certain players for the tournament, although that problem seems to have been rectified.
Despite being able to select players from Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, contrary to what was expected, there are still no Orlando Pirates players within the squad.
Itumeleng Khune, Moeneeb Josephs, Siyabonga Mpontshane.
Tefu Mashamaite, Tsepo Gumede, Thabo Nthethe, Tebogo Langerman, Vuyo Mere, Bryce Moon, Kwanda Mngonyama, Tsepo Masilela.
Hlompho Kekana, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Lerato Chabangu, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Jabu Shongwe, Lindokuhle Mbatha, Ryan Chapman.
Bernard Parker, Edward Manqele, Katlego Mashego.
Bafana's group will see them come up against Mozambique, Mali and Nigeria.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Chiefs and Sundowns will meet on January 23rd to play out their game that was postponed earlier this season.
