Milano Sack Palmer

National First Division outfit, Milano United have parted ways with head coach, Ian Palmer, after a string a poor results which has seen the team slump from log leaders in December last year to their current position of fifth.
Just a few days short of his 49th birthday, the vastly experienced former FC AK, Maritzburg United, African Warriors, Black Leopards, Santos and Chippa United mentor, is heading back to Johannesburg.
Although ‘Eezy My Kinnes' were not prepared to comment on Palmer’s departure, the fired coach confirmed the news to Soccer Laduma.
“The club decided to terminate my contract due to poor results,” he said.
“That’s football what can I do.”
Regarding Palmer’s replacement, a source has revealed that his assistant, Theo Hempe might be "brought back" to lead the team in his previous role.
Milano were held to a 2-2 draw by lowly Garankuwa United on Saturday and, have not picked up a victory since beating Santos 2-1 in early December.
