Tonight SuperSport United travel to Orlando in Soweto where they face Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership. With three points at stake, SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt has emphasised the importance of preparing his team for the league tie.
Hunt said that the second round of the 2012/13 campaign will be challenging, with their CAF Confederations Cup involvement and domestic commitment.
With 11 draws in their 16 league outings to date of the current season, Hunt explained that the players brought in during the January transfer window will help the team going forward.
“We have to have a nice plan for tonight and going forward. We had 11 draws from 16 games in the first round and that means there was something that we were not doing well. That's why we have signed some players. We would like to give them a run tonight and see what they can offer on the field of play.
“We know Pirates would want to win and keep the chase of the league title on but we also need to improve our position on the log,” Hunt concluded.
