A football analyst has suggested that the spotlight will be on Gavin Hunt and Stuart Baxter as Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome Chippa United this weekend.
Following his premature exit from Chiefs just before the end of last season, Hunt will be visiting Amakhosi for the first time as an opposition coach and will be hoping to lead the Chilli Boys to three points to improve their position on the DStv Premiership log.
After a disappointing start to the season for both teams, Chiefs and Chippa are sitting in 13th and 14th place respectively on the log, with both Baxter and Hunt under added pressure to deliver the results, going into Saturday’s clash at FNB Stadium.
Football analyst and former Moroka Swallows striker, Mark Haskins, believes that the eagerly awaited match could end in a stalemate.
“It’s going to be a very interesting one because it’s two coaches who are under pressure although I don’t think that at this stage Stuart Baxter’s job is on the line, but on the part of Gavin Hunt, I think he is under a bit more pressure. I see this one being a draw, if you look at the recent results, Gavin Hunt has struggled away from home and that’s why I see it possibly being a draw,” said Haskins, speaking to the Siya crew
