Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt claims they had equal opportunities against Orlando Pirates but admitted that the Soweto giants were superior on the night.

The Soweto giants put in a rampant showing, as they romped to a 4-0 win at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening. However, the Clever Boys boss insists the scoreline did not reflect his side performance on the night.
“The performance doesn’t warrant the score. The first goal was an own-goal. The second goal, I mean our defender had the ball and passed it straight to him and the third was a penalty. Then the fourth was right at the end while trying to press," Hunt told SuperSport after the game.
“I thought we had a lot of opportunities, but you got to give them credit with their front players now. They move. You can’t give them a start like we give them.
“I mean, we haven’t scored a goal I think in five games. We’ve had one goal in six matches in all competitions so that’s a problem.
“As you can see, we had equal opportunities and our moments but they were better than us, you got to hold your head up and give it to them. But as I said the performance doesn’t warrant the score but it is what it is and you got to give them credit."
