How The Top Four Have Done In The Transfer Window

With the transfer window yet to be in full swing, Soccer Laduma takes a look at how the top four clubs in the Absa Premiership have bolstered their squads ahead of the new season.

Mamelodi Sundowns:

Sundowns have completed four new signings ahead of the new window, adding Andile Jali, Jose Ali Meza, Toni Silva and Lyle Lakay to their books. 

So far just Jali has made his official debut for the Brazilians in a CAF Champions League encounter. 

Masandawana are believed to be not yet done in the transfer window, with the likes of Reyaad Pieterse and Lebogang Manyama being linked to the Brazilians. 

Orlando Pirates:

Pirates have made the most signings so far this season, adding Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Meshack Maphangule, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Abel Mabaso, Paseka Mako and Kudakwashe Mahachi. 

The Buccaneers have been fairly active with pre-season friendly encounters ahead of the new season, with the football fraternity waiting patiently to see how Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic will juggle his new squad. 

Kaizer Chiefs:

Chiefs have made four new signings so far, adding a marquee signing Khama Billiat, Virgil Vries, Letlhogonolo Mirwa, and Andriamirado Andrianarimanana to their squad.

Amakhosi have also recently announced a new head coach at the helm of the team and it remains to be seen how Giovanni Solinas will utilize his new signings in the new season. 

Maritzburg United:

The Team Of Choice have so far completed the signing of Keagan Buchanan from Kaizer Chiefs, officially unveiled Denwin Farmer and added Sizwe Muthwa and Tholang Masegela to their books while also expected to complete the signing of Nazeer Allie.
