Esperance head coach Maher Kanzari has revealed that he will play an attacking game against Orlando Pirates tonight, and the Siya crew has managed to get some insight into how the African giants will possibly be looking to approach the match.
According to information gathered from the statistics at the Siya crew's disposal, Esperance look likely to employ their traditional 4-2-3-1 formation. They have two wingers who are extremely quick and tricky in Yousef Belaili and Harrison Afful and the Bucs would do well to be cautious of them when on the attack, as the Esperance counter-attacks are lightning quick.
The information also reveals that their fullbacks will look to push on, while their two holding midfielders are very tactically disciplined and provide the protection for their defence.
Atttacking-wise, the Esperance side look to Oussama Darragi, who plays off Ahmed Akaichi upfront - both of whom are good in the air. On the few occasions where they play it short, their holding midfielders look to receive the ball from the defence.
Happy Jele and Thabo Matlaba will do well to be cautious when going on the attack, as it could backfire if they leave too much space too often.
