AmaZulu defender Prince Hlela has returned to the club after finishing his loan spell with SuperSport United. The left-back spent the second round of last season in Tshwane, on loan with United.
Hlela has got another year left to run on his contract with Usuthu, having penned a two year deal with the club at the end of the 2011/12 season. He was previously with Bloemfontein Celtic, having also turned out for Free State Stars during his career.
The 29-year-old revealed that he is still uncertain regarding the club’s plans on his future. “I’m back in Durban. There’s been silence at the moment. But one will keep monitoring the situation day by day,” said Hlela.
A source close to the KwaZulu-Natal club has informed Soccer-Laduma that coach Craig Rosslee and his technical team could deem Hlela surplus to requirements.
