TELSTAR V VVV VENLO
League table: Telstar 15th and Venlo 10th
Useful facts: In this less than thrilling Dutch First division clash, lowly Telstar host Venlo at the Telstar Stadium. It is hardly a spectacle to get the pulses racing, however, expect plenty of effort and honest toil. With that said, neither outfits are goal machines, so this could be a scrappy affair in the city of Velsen.
Glen Salmon: I’ll say a draw in this one.
WITS V BLOEMFONTEIN CELTIC
League table: Wits 3rd and Celtic 7th
Useful facts: Wits will no doubt still be hurting from their shock loss to Swazi minnows, Royal Leopards, in the CAF Confederations Cup. For such a wealthy team to get turned over by a virtually semi-professional side from Swaziland could likely be viewed as an embarrassment for South African football. Gavin Hunt will undoubtedly be looking for a response when they take on a rejuvenated Celtic in this PSL clash.
Glen Salmon: Wits are at home so we’ll win, obviously.
